Niroj is a 11 year old tabla player from Kathmandu, Nepal. He is currently studying in Grade 6 in a boarding school in Kathmandu. He started playing at the age of 10 under his teacher Milesh Tandulkar at Kalanidhi Indira Sangeet Maya Vidhyalaya. His parents Nil Sagar Shakya and Nirmala Shakya are proud to have a son with such tabla skills.
He has performed at several functions at institutes in Kathmandu Valley and has won the Bal Sashtriya Sangeet Pratiyogita, 2062 Bikram Sambat (Children Music Competition 2007 AD).
Niroj is a child prodigy with extraordinary talents. He needs support so that he can travel around the world and perform internationally. Let us pray for him that he will be successful in winning the hearts of the people around the world and can make his family and home country Nepal proud.
